Heidi Klum has a secret to keeping her skin looking young and fresh, and it might not be what you think.
The America’s Got Talent judge, who’s known for her beauty, shared her secret to perfect skin with Harper’s Bazaar. The model’s 19-year-old daughter Leni Klum recently opened up about her struggles with acne with a no-filter post on Instagram.
Klum said her skincare routine consists of washing her face with Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo.
She told the magazine: “I use baby shampoo as a face wash as it is the most gentle for your face and it removes everything.”

Klum isn’t alone in that habit. Actress Laverne Cox once told the New York Times she uses the baby hair wash as well.
Dermatologist backed up the act, saying using baby shampoo is actually a good idea. If you’re looking to adopt this practice, however, make sure you find a brand that’s tear free and fragrance free.

“Others have fragrances and other chemicals that can irritate the eyes and could potentially irritate sensitive skin,” dermatologist Shari Marchbein previously told Allure.
After the baby shampoo, Klum uses Mario Badescu’s Buttermilk Lotion.
At the end of the day, she uses baby shampoo to remove her makeup as well. For night moisturizer, she goes for something richer like Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum or Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Oil.
